As the nation is being swept by Obamamania one thing comes to mind. It is that this nation is in a giant fairytale. It is like when Sleeping Beauty pricked her finger and the three good fairies decided that it would be best if the whole kingdom be put to sleep with her. The vision here is that three tiny fairies fly around the kingdom tapping their magic dust on all. Here in America Obama is flying around his kingdom, because he has elevated himself to a point that he appears to already be king, he has a giant magic wand of charisma and eloquent rhetoric. As he sprinkles this charm upon us we become enchanted under his glorious spell and like another fairy tale The Pied Piper of Hamlin, we as a nation are following along behind him to his music (eloquent rhetoric). However, like in Sleeping Beauty can we as a nation afford to be asleep while the politicians run this country into the ground, actually, what will happen is a second Europe in the coming. Is this what we want? Do we really want to dance and follow along behind a man that could be leading us away from our great nation to a nation of higher taxes, higher gas prices, because remember he wished that the prices would have increased at a more gradual pace. He wants a new Europe lead by giant governments with higher prices. Indeed, the Pied Piper of Hamlin stole the children and led them into a dark cave. How can we trust his music when he has never really explained where he is taking us? He states that it will be a change, but what kind of change. Changes come in all different forms and sometimes not for the good. We must demand to know what changes and how they will affect us. We can not be asleep and just listen to the pretty sounds coming from this (what he believes a knight in shining armor). People of this great nation I urge you to shake off the magic dust that is being sprinkled upon you and put ear plugs in your ears to stop the mesmerizing rhetoric and sit and think for yourselves.   Do not be snowed by charm, charisma and beautiful music. Indeed, the knight in shining armor is yourself and you must think about what is best for yourselves as well as the nation.
